About the Magic Castle

As the name implies, Magic Castle celebrates all types of magic, from close-up tricks or sleight of hand to full-stage illusions. There are usually several acts every evening. You can witness the genius of Lion Fludd, Johnny Ace Palmer, Greg Otto, Jheff, Oscar Munoz, Fielding West, Keith West, Scott Tokar and Robert Baxt among many others. Magicians from across the country and beyond showcase their skills. Some have shows throughout the year while a few have seasonal or even one-off performances. The Magic Castle also has special posters, memorabilia, a dining room, bars and socializing space.

The Magic Castle has a strict dress code. You cannot wear any casual clothes, athletic attire, sandals or flip-flops, work boots, shorts, denim, rompers or outdoor jackets. Admission is granted to only those with membership or guest card. Valid photo identification is necessary for admission. Adults must be above the age of twenty one. Anyone under the age of twenty one can only attend the brunch on weekends. A typical evening has guests arriving from around 5 p.m. All guests have dinner, witness the main show and most guests stay back after the main show for a spree of shows.

The Academy of Magical Arts is the organization managing and promoting the Magic Castle. It is not exactly Hogwarts but the academy encourages fellowship and has been instrumental in the evolution of magic in recent years. It provides a platform for everyone from budding magicians to legends.
